Directed Study allows the exceptional degree-seeking student to work in an area of special academic interest under the direct supervision of a faculty member. Students with a minimum of junior standing and a GPA of 3.00 are eligible. Directed Study projects may not be taken on a “Credit/No Credit” basis, and the successfully completed project may earn one to four credits. A student may take no more than one Directed Study in a given semester, and submit no more than eight Directed Study credits for graduation. The submission deadline is the end of the semester prior to the target semester.
