Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will develop interpretive and critical analysis skills that pertain to archival research by examining a wide array of primary and secondary sources.
  2. Students will show an ability to understand how archives shape cultural memory and film historiography.
  3. Students will design a research project and critically investigating a topic of their choice through archival materials.
  4. Students will be able to engage in the writing practices and culture of their chosen major, adding to the skills acquired in the Research, Interpretation, and Writing classes to develop a personal, authentic disciplinary voice. (CCR LO1)
