Notes

The first part of this course will examine racist practices in psychology and their impact on policies in Britain and Germany pre-1945. The second will analyze recent ethno-national conflicts in Northern Ireland, Rwanda, and Yugoslavia using psychological and historical approaches. Throughout, we will center examples of resistance to racist practices within the discipline of psychology and within society at large.
